This award is presented annually to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of film and television production for children and young audiences.

The Clock Hand is not only a symbol of recognition and achievement but also a work of art, reflecting the precision and passion of master glassmakers.

We are proud to partner with such a talented team, who have transformed our vision into reality. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the creation of this extraordinary award. Your work continues to inspire and motivate us for future projects!

Founded in 1988, EVPAS Glassworks began when a young couple in the glassmaking industry decided to defy convention. Even during their high school years, they noticed that unique glass was a rarity. Today, the Zlatohlávek family—now with a daughter and son—maintains the same vision: "We want to create glass that, with every use, reminds people of special occasions and evokes unforgettable emotions. Glass that makes one feel exceptional, not just like they are holding an everyday product."

Over the decades, EVPAS Glassworks has undergone many changes, but the most significant came with the arrival of COVID-19. The pandemic posed existential challenges, necessitating a complete restructuring.

The Zlatohlávek parents brought their children into the business, adapting everything they had learned. They shifted their focus from international markets back to the Czech market, with a new concept: "dressing" their glass products. As people use clothing to express mood, status, and personal taste, the Zlatohláveks applied the same philosophy to their glassware.

It was a bold commitment and a challenge not only for the family but for all the artisans at the glassworks. Many had spent their careers working with the same designs and techniques, but they embraced this new direction without hesitation.

Together, they liberated Czech glass from excess and outdated methods, focusing on colour contrasts while preserving traditional techniques.
The Zlatohlávek parents learned from their children, while their children absorbed the wisdom of their parents. Together, they created a new beginning for their family glassworks.
